Dear Friends, Collectors and Art Lovers!
Once again I apologize for not being in touch recently. Busy, busy, busy. . . and a little
vacationing squeezed in. We just got back from Hawaii and once again I am so inspired to
paint the brilliant colors of Hawaii. Be watching for more paintings from Hawaii soon. Also
I am so tickled that spring is finally on it's way. Flowers are such a joy!
I recently won a contest to be the featured artist at the Ashland Artisan Gallery in Ashland
for the month of June with the painting below. It's called "A Little Ice Cream With Your
Hot Fudge?" Everyone was smelling and touching the hot fudge to see if I actually used
hot fudge. But, sigh. . . it is just paint. But it does look good enough to eat! This piece is
very whimsical and yet realistic. The cherry on top even looks like it is sitting in it's own
juices. I'll be demonstrating some of my techniques during June's First Friday.
A LITTLE ICE CREAM WITH YOUR HOT FUDGE?
CIRCLE OF SEA LIFE: 2 large 24x30 textural paintings on luxury linen canvas. These are
2 original paintings of a dolphin and harp seal with shells and sand. Highly textured and
sculpted in heavy gel, then painted. Sand texture on background. Amazing texture with
soft corals, aquas, sands with the dolphin and harp seal done in soft greys. The abalone
shells have a pearl finish.

FUTURE EXHIBITS: You can see me and my artwork on the First Friday of May at Chozu
Bath and Tea Gardens. I'll be demonstrating my techniques at their Grand Opening. You
