From Corvallis to the coast of Washington

My 1st stop was Corvallis, OR where I got to see 3 cousins and their families. It was a nice visit and I also discovered the Public Art Walk on Madison Street. See photos below (more photos are at: Public Art
From Corvallis, OR I headed south to Newport and then north from there.
The turnout just north of Newport. It's a great place to walk down to the beach. Easy access and hardly any people.
I stayed the night at Tillamook at the Blue Heron French Cheese Creamery. They are a member of Harvest Hosts. his is an incredible service where you can stay at wineries, creameries, ranches and farms for free. All you pay is an annual membership of $44. If you mention my name, Wanda Pepin, you will get a free month off and so will I. It really is a great deal. www.harvesthosts.com.
Just as I was leaving town, I saw this and had to stop and take a photo. That would be traveling in style. LOL
Next are views of the Oregon coastline. Some of my favorite stopping places were Rockaway Beach and some of the pullouts right before the Washington border.

One of the ways I make money, so that I can continually travel is through affiliate programs. I'm excited to say that I am now a publisher with AWIN and have access to thousands of products and brands that I can feature and promote. How does this fit in with my passions? I can provide quality brands for creating artwork by accessing products from well known manufacturers. I also have access to travel deals that I can pass on. I can do this from the comfort of my own laptop wherever I might be. If you are interested in doing the same thing. Check out many of the affiliate companies below. AWIN is listed here:  AWIN

I have decided to reduce the prices on my website to increase sales and to reduce my inventory as I am planning to start painting in a big way again. I'd like to have more room to put all the new inventory I plan to create. I'm really excited to be getting back in the studio and creating again.

These photos were taken last Sunday at the Gordon Iris Gardens in Loomis, CA. They will make great reference photos for future paintings. If you choose to use one of my photos as a reference for one of your paintings, please feel free to post it below. I'd love to see it.

Pantone describes Greenery as: “A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings.

Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.

Greenery is nature’s neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world. This shift is reflected by the proliferation of all things expressive of Greenery in daily lives through urban planning, architecture, lifestyle and design choices globally. A constant on the periphery, Greenery is now being pulled to the forefront – it is an omnipresent hue around the world.

A life-affirming shade, Greenery is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality.

What is the PANTONE Color of the Year?
A symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”
